LOCATION:

The site is located at the southern tip of Baltimore City in the Brooklyn neighborhood, just one mile east of Ritchie Highway (MD-Route 2) and just a few blocks north of Anne Arundel County. The site is approximately 3 miles northeast of BWI airport with direct access from Maryland Route 170 (Ft. Meade Road which becomes Belle Grove Road and ends at Hanover Street). A new multi-million dollar area development plan is in the works, as outlined by the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC), known as Brooklyn Town Center within minutes of the subject site. According to a press release, "Brooklyn Town Center is a proposed mixed-use residential and commercial town center designed to create a new focal point for the Brooklyn-Curtis Bay neighborhood. The development would consist of six new buildings that include: 168 market-rate residential condominium/apartment units that wrap around a six-floor 300-space parking garage with 50,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground level designated for a full-service grocery store; 56 market-rate residential units in four floors on top of 15,000 square feet of commercial space; 96 subsidized senior housing units in a four-floor building with 60 ground-level garage spaces; and three 8,000 square foot single-story freestanding retail buildings." TERMS OF SALE

       Deposit payable by certified or cashier's check of $2,500 will be required of the purchaser at time and place of sale. The deposit is to be increased to 10% of the purchase price within 24 hours at the office of the Auctioneers. Balance to be paid in cash within 45 days. If payment of the balance does not take place within the specified time, the deposit will be forfeited and the property may be resold at the risk and expense of the defaulting purchaser. Interest to be charged on the unpaid purchase money, at the rate of 12% per annum, from date of sale to date of settlement.
