Sale on Premises
LOCATION & DIRECTIONS: Taylor's Island is a scenic, rural island located on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay, approximately 17 miles southwest of Cambridge. Approximately 50% of the island is a wildlife management area. As promulgated by the State of Maryland web site, "the tidal marshes of Taylor's Island have been relatively untouched by the development of small towns and villages on the nearby shores. Small "islands" of loblolly pine and cedar forest dot the marsh system. This large island, comprising 1,100 acres, is a classic illustration of Chesapeake Bay tidal marsh habitat.
