815 N. Howard Street is located in the Mount Vernon neighborhood in Baltimore City. Mount Vernon has always been a vibrant core for Baltimore, featuring grand monuments and statues, impressive architecture, major businesses, an impeccable music and art scene, great restaurants and much more. The Central Business District is immediately to the south, University of Maryland Baltimore is immediately to the southwest, University of Baltimore and Maryland Institute College of Art are to the north. The 800 block of N. Howard Street, and a portion of 200 W. Read Street, is known as Antique Row due to the long tradition of independently owned antiques businesses that have called the location home for the last hundred years. University of Maryland Medical System's Maryland General Hospital sits opposite Antique Row, and the Eubie Blake Jazz and Cultural Center is in the center of the block.

The semi-detached building has ample exposure along N. Howard Street and Tyson Street in the rear. The building functions as a blank canvas for commercial users, as a live work space or redevelopment into a multi-unit investment. The rear of the property has a paved area for 1-2 cars, and a fenced area that could easily be converted for 3-4 more spaces. The ready access to the rapidly expanding residential population, numerous proximate public transportation options and major institutions further enhance the property's potential.
