"Leisure World of Maryland is a private, age-restricted adult community located in Montgomery County, Maryland. 


The Community was started in September of 1966 and encompasses a fenced, 610-acre parcel, with entry limited to residents and guests by using any of the three staffed gatehouses.


There are approximately 8,500 people residing in Leisure World, which is sub-divided into 29 housing associations, referred to as Mutuals.


The Community amenities, which are held in Trust for benefit of the residents, include an 18-hole golf course, two clubhouses, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, dining facilities, bus transportation (within the Community and to outside shopping centers), a medical cente  with pharmacy, and full maintenance services. TERMS OF SALE

Deposit payable by certified or cashier's check of $10,000 will be required of the purchaser at time and place of sale.  The deposit is to be increased to 10% of the purchase price within 24 hours at the office of the Auctioneers.  Balance to be paid in cash within 45 days. If payment of the balance does not take place within the specified time, the deposit will be forfeited and the property may be resold at the risk and expense of the defaulting purchaser. Interest to be charged on the unpaid purchase money, at the rate of 12% per annum, from date of sale to date of settlement.  Taxes, condominium fees and all other public charges and assessments, payable on an annual basis, including sanitary and/or metropolitan district charges, if any, to  be adjusted for the current year to date of sale and assumed thereafter by the purchaser. Condominium documents are available for inspection at the office of the Auctioneers.  The purchaser waives their right of rescission as provided by Maryland Law.  The property will be sold in "AS IS" condition, without express or implied warranty as to the nature and description of the improvements as contained herein; and subject to easements, agreements, the "The Greens at Leisure World" association by-laws, restrictions or covenants of record affecting same, if any.
