GENERAL INFORMATION

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS:

641 Aldershot Road is situated on a quiet street in the Catonsville area of southwest Baltimore County, in the Meridale Little Farms subdivision.  The home is located one mile east of I-695 (Exits 14 and 15).   Abundant shopping is within minutes along Baltimore National Pike (I-40).  Nearby public schools include Westowne Elementary, Catonsville Middle and Catonsville High Schools.  The Downtown Baltimore business district lies just 10 minutes to the east and access to I-95 is within 5 minutes to the south via I-695.

The home, Circa 1941 (according to tax records), was constructed as the family estate home of Giuseppi Palladi, founder and owner Palladi Construction Company.  Giuseppe Palladi emigrated to the United States in 1915 from Carpineti, Italy. After serving in World War I, he settled in the Baltimore area, founded Palladi Construction in 1920, and began building brick row houses on 30th street in Waverly. Palladi projects continued in the western section of the city, spanning Frederick Road, and into the Catonsville-Arbutus area of Baltimore County.
