The home overlooks Baltimore's famous Lake Ashburton in the Forest Park neighborhood. The area surrounding the lake is known as Hanlon Park which features playgrounds, walking paths and picnic areas. This prestigious neighborhood is within walking distance to the MTA bus line and the Metro Subway Station. Downtown Baltimore is just ten minutes to the southeast. This is a beautiful predominantly homeowner area where pride in home ownership is evident.  For more neighborhood information, see's descriptions of Hanlon and Forest Park.

The property is improved by a three story stucco home. According to tax records, the home was built in 1923 as a single family home, comprising 5,300-square feet, that was later divided into 2 units. The first floor contains large entry foyer, sun room, living room, dining room, kitchen with pantry, guest bedroom and bath. The second floor has a very large sitting/lounge area, 6 rooms, 2 baths, powder room and exits to Fairview Ave. The third floor has 3 rooms and powder room. Full basement with powder room. Two car garage in rear. The home is in very poor condition and needs extensive improvements. Lot size:  fronts 108' on Hilton St. and 148' on Fairview Ave. In Fee Simple.
